Welcome to Rudge House B&B.
Built in 1797, Rudge House is set in the heart of Lostwithiel, which is not only renowned for its 11th century Bridge across the River Fowey and Duchy Palace but was once the Stannary Town of Cornwall. Today it is the 'Antiques Centre' of mid-Cornwall with many shops and a monthly antiques fair at the Community Centre. Lostwithiel is an ideal base for touring Cornwall with the Eden Project only 5 miles away and National Trust Houses and Gardens in the surrounding countryside. Beaches are within 15 minutes and Horse Riding, Golf and Fishing are available locally. Lostwithiel also has many pubs and restaurants to choose from. Rudge House has recently undergone refurbishment, providing rooms furnished to a high standard. We are open from January 17th to December 15th. Please note: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer facilities for young children or pets and we are strictly a NON-SMOKING establishment. |
